Ensemble Gamut!, led by Aino Peltomaa, brings to light female figures of the early Middle Ages, incantations, and prayers to Mother Earth in their concert. We will hear Bridgettine melodies and the deep and virtuosic tunes of the medieval mystic Hildegard of Bingen, poetic tunes, incantations, and lively improvisation.

Ensemble Gamut! has quickly risen to be one of the most intriguing groups navigating the space between genres. The group creates its unique sound by combining early music, Finnish folk music, improvisation, and electronics along with Peltomaa’s compositions.
